Just Because Three Sets of Trains Seems Like a Lot to a Mom...

doesn't necessarily mean a lot to a toddler. I told myself that after spending hundreds of dollars on the real Thomas the Train wooden railway sets, I wasn't going to be tempted to spend any money on the the little die cast take-a-long sets or the big plastic battery operated sets...because the wooden ones are classic, the wooden ones last a lifetime. And, well, yeah...that lasted until the first trip to Walmart...where the isles are filled with both the take-a-longs and the big plastic but no wooden trains.
