That's how many inches of snow have fallen here in the last 24 hours.
It's 4am, I just got home from work, and my roads have clearly not been plowed all day. The snow is waist deep in places. Should be fun to shovel out in the morning.

Oh my goodness! Did you two get to play in it at all??

It looks like the light fluffy snow ... the type that isnt hard to shovel. Our snow here in Chicago is just hard cold solid stuff...you know heart-attack snow.

@Melissa: We did get to play, and you're right...it's super light and fluffy. You kind of get lost in it, like you can set anything down because it just disappears into the drifts.
